The college is equipped with facilities to enable the students to take part in activities leading to the overall development of the society. Students are encouraged to participate in activities such as sports, social and cultural held within and outside the college.
Mawlai Presbyterian College maintained a NSS (National Service Scheme) as part of the student's co- curricular activities. The unit takes part in various activities in and outside the College premises which will help the students in building their future and also help them in their future endeavors.
The College holds regular activities in coordination with the unit. The college together with NSS Unit celebrates the World Environment Day, every year, by taking part in different kinds of activities. The adoption of a village in East Khasi HILLS, Laitmawroh, Laitlyngkot, where special camping of the NSS was held consecutively in the year 2016 and 2017.
On 21" June, 2018 the country as a whole, celebrated World Yoga Day and as such, students in the college also took part along with the professional Yoga trainers who were called to the college.
On 28 November 2018, the NSS unit in collaboration with SANKER had organized an awareness program/workshop on the challenges of substance abuse where the resource person for the program was Dr. Sandy Syiem. The program proved to be fruitful because of the insight that the students had gained on substance abuse. Students had also participated in a short play and extempore speech, which were some of the activities conducted by SANKER.
The College authority will conduct Internal Tests which are compulsory for all students. Any students who is absent in the Test will be treated as fail and will not be allowed to appear for the Final External Examination. In addition to internal tests, it is compulsory for students to submit assignment.
Youth Red Cross is a lifetime of the Red Cross. It is a movement organized within the College. The Mawlai Presbyterian College has a unit of the YRC where the students through this unit are imposed to a lot of platforms by taking part in various activities, not only in the College but outside the State as well. The Unit of the College celebrates World Red Cross Day every year on 9th May.
The Red Ribbon Club is an initiative taken by the Government of India to spread awareness about HIV/AIDS. The college has also taken initiative in the forming of this club and students are encouraged to become members and also take part not only in the college but also at the State level.
World Aids Day is celebrated every year on the 1" of December and students have taken part in order to commemorate this day in the college premises and at the State level.
On the 27 March 2019, the college choir had participated in the State level Invitational Choir Competition organized by the Meghalaya Aids Control Society, in which the college choir had secured the third place.
The only organisation, which is recognised by the college inside the campus is the "Mawlai Presbyterian College Student's Union'. Which is the Official student's Union.
It is infact part and parcel of the institution. No other organisation will be allowed to function in the college.
To encourage the students to showcase their talents, the college celebrate College Week every year where the students takes part in many games and activities both Indoors and outdoors
To show the Christian identity of the College and as part of moral value education to help students grow not only in academics but also morally, the College from time to time, organizes counseling sessions, worship service and special Christmas Services are held every year
On July 2018, the college in collaboration with NEIGRIHMS and Jingiaseng Kynthei Balang Presbyterian Mawlai, Iewrynghep has conducted an awareness program on health and disease.
The SCMI (Student Christian Movement of India) is a student's movement with Christian ethos which maintains a fellowship of students, teachers and union friends with a commitment to translate the Christian faith in to action through contemporising faith in Jesus Christ by discussing critically the signs of times.
The SCMI was set up and inaugurated in the college on 25 September 2018. This group consist of students and teachers. On 28th March 2019, the SCMI in collaboration with the YWCA had conducted a program in the college to witness the International Women's Day.
Apart from the activities mentioned above, students have proven that they are talented and excelled in co-curricular activities
This can be seen on the 17 of November 2018, when students had defeated BBS College in the Inter College Football Competition conducted by NEHU to secure the 1" place.
